Horn Africa Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the health landscape across the Horn of Africa.
We are committed to reducing the burden of cancer and bleeding disorders through education, early detection, advocacy, capacity building, and support services — giving hope to families and communities who need it most.
Our Key Programs
Social Support
We empower communities through local mobilization, advocacy, and psychosocial support—providing emotional, educational, and practical assistance to individuals and families affected by cancer and bleeding disorders.
Capacity Building
We train Community Health Workers, Health Extension Workers, and patient advocates in leadership, communication, early detection, and advocacy skills—building grassroots capacity to recognize symptoms early and strengthen referral pathways.
Service Provision
We collaborate with healthcare facilities and mobile service providers to bring cancer and bleeding disorder education, screening, early detection, and referrals closer to underserved communities.
Advocacy
We champion national and regional policies supporting improved cancer and bleeding-disorder care, advocating for increased investment in prevention, early detection, treatment access, and long-term support systems.
